Hey gang,

Well, it has been quite a while since we’ve posted anything new on the site. Our tour dates seem to be a bit outdated as well!

Due to a severe lack of free time (Kyle and Melissa finally got real jobs), Hijack hasn’t been able to practice, write, or perform as much as they would’ve liked. The hiatus is certainly in no means permanent, but there won’t be as many shows in the immediate future.

Thank you for all of your support, and undying faithfulness! We promise to have something new coming up in the next few months, whether it be a live album, shows, or maybe just a fun time for everyone!

Thanks again, we miss you all!

Hey Kids!

 Sorry things have been so slow in the Hijack Maria range these days.  We find ourselves eternally busy with other stuff (careers, families, b.s…), but still find time to get the shows going!

 We had a great time at the YO! Leukemia and Lymphoma SUCK!! Benefit!  We are SOO thankful to all of you who came out and made it such a successful evening!  Thanks to all who put it on, especially the crew at the Mars Bar, it was a blast!!

 We’ve got one show coming up, on April 11th at The Ould Triangle, so hopefully we all can see you out!  Still working out some new material, so there might be a surprise or two on the way!

Hey Kids!!

Sorry we’ve been so MIA the last few months. We have the unfortunate responsibility of letting you know that Thane has lost a very close member of his family, and a holiday hiatus was necessary, as Kyle started a new job that required an extraordinary amount of his time. Ahhh, too bad K, those lush 20 hour work weeks are over!

However, we’re back at it, new material is being written daily, and we’re working on some summer bookings!

Our next show, March 15th at the Mars Bar, is going to be a benefit for Leukemia and Lymphoma research, so we hope everyone makes an extra effort to get out!

Hey all,

We’ve got some neat stuff coming up that we wanted to let everyone know about, as it’s not yet updated on the site, myspace, or anywhere really!

We are playing this weekend, November the 3rd, at the Dubliner in Fremont, on Fremont Ave. actually. Show starts at 9pm, it is 21+, so please no minors… Sorry…

Following that, we are doing a GREAT show with our friends from Lazybones, and Smoking Bill at the Showbox SODO, on November the 24th! Look for tickets to be on sale soon!

Then we will be returning to the Central on November the 28th, and cruising down to Portland, at the Slope Bar and Grill on December 1st!

The best part is, we’ve got some NEW songs that will be debuting at one or all of these shows, so come on out to check out the new stuff!
